Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
This is a tough verse for the average person. Putting others first and looking out for the interests of others is hard to do.
But just imagine for a moment what would happen if: 1) politicians lived out this verse, or 2) family members made this a priority, or 3) co-workers lived this, or 4) you lived this daily. This world would look totally different.
We can’t make politicians, family members or even co-workers live out this verse. But we, ourselves, can choose to do so.
Make the effort to live out this verse and value others more.
