My parents were great at demonstrating love by helping others.
I clearly remember my parents waking all four of us kids up early one Sunday morning to drop off groceries. We each took a bag and quietly dropped them off on a porch of a family from church. Later that morning during the service, a large man stood up and shared how they had been struggling and that God answered their prayers with groceries that were left on their front porch.
I learned at a young age that we demonstrate God’s love by loving and caring for others. LOVE GOD – LOVE OTHERS
Look for ways to demonstrate God’s love. It could be a neighbor that needs some help or a co-worker, a friend even. See the need then do something about it. ACT.
