1 Peter 2:11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.
I want to encourage you to NOT BE MOVED. Don’t give an inch to Satan’s attacks and schemes. He will do all he can to take your eyes off of Jesus and to weaken you spiritually.
Jealousy. Pride. Lust for Power or Wealth. Adultery. Gluttony. These are just some of the temptations (sinful desires) that negatively effect us (wage war against your soul). Be aware and DON’T BE MOVED.
Read and study the Bible. Pray. Listen. “Armor Up” (Ephesians 6:14-17). Be that light (Matthew 5:14-16, John 8:12), so that when people see you they see Jesus. Don’t let your life be a stumbling block to others.
