2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
When we sing our national anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner”, there is a line that we sing that says “O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.” Those words mean a lot to me. My parents immigrated in the 1950s to the United States of America so that they could experience the freedoms that their homeland did not offer.
I’ve been blessed to have been born in the United States of America and have enjoyed the freedoms. But our Country is not same place that my parents immigrated to. Our freedoms have been slowly eroded over the years. As a nation, we have taken our eyes off of God and have focused on man (self).
Whether a Nation or an individual, TRUE FREEDOM IS FOUND IN JESUS. We need Jesus!
