James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Truth – Every GOOD and PERFECT gift is from GOD. Please hang on to that truth. Many times we forget that, especially when things are not going according to “our plan” and “our time line”. When we forget that truth we tend to look to ourselves to have that “perfect gift” and make it happen. We think, “if God won’t give it to me, then I will go get it myself.” WE take control.
God does not change. He does not go from good to bad just because our situation has changed. He gives “perfect “gifts. That is, gifts that are complete and lack in nothing. When God gives us that “perfect” gift, it may not seem at first, that it is something we want, or something that makes us “feel good” but it is something we need.
Stay faithful to God despite the circumstances. He is our source of what is good in our lives both for today and tomorrow. HE NEVER CHANGES.
