Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
A lot of people know this verse but few truly apply what Jesus was teaching – to prioritize God over physical or material needs.
But when we do …
seek God’s sovereign rule and reign for our lives, and live a way that is consistent with God’s standards and character, Jesus promises that “all these things shall be added to you.” What things? Jesus is talking about the needs of life like food, drink, and clothing (see verse 32).
I want to encourage you for 2026, to devote time each day and truly surrender to God and seek Him in ALL matters of your life. Apply this verse and do what it says.
God loves you and wants the best for you. Make the decision today to live a Matthew 6:33 life.
-Ron-.
