James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
There is a battle going that many Christians really don’t understand or even believe. It is a Spiritual Battle. Spiritual warfare is real but many in the church are not equipped and trained to spiritually fight this battle. As a result, Satan has been winning.
He has permeated every fabric of society from media to the family; from economy to the government, to even our education system. Prayer, Bible reading, 10 Commandments and religious teachers were once present in every one of our schools but no more. This is just one example. Think about TV., marriage, gender, money, etc. All have been influenced and corrupted by Satan.
ENOUGH!!
To fight this Spiritual battle, we need to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). We need to fully submit to God, which means to yield, obey, align, to God’s will and authority. This takes daily effort. Next, we need to resist the devil – to take a defensive posture, and with God’s strength we can overcome Satan’s attacks of temptation and deceptions.
God promises that Satan will flee when we submit to Him and resist the devil. It’s time Spiritual Warriors to start taking back ground that the devil as taken.
