Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
Surrounding yourself with money, or powerful friends and family, or even weapons and armies cannot provide true safety. Oh, those things may provide safety for the moment but when it comes to spiritual or emotional or even eternal safety, it cannot.
The name of the Lord, His character, ( wisdom, holiness, faithfulness, mercy, love, forgiveness, just to name a few.) will provide spiritual and emotional safety, security and protection. BUT only when we “run” to and seek our refuge in God – to completely trust Him.
Don’t be fooled that only the “World” or “Things” can provide safety. There is more to safety than just our physical lives.
