Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
I recently saw a video of a speaker that said that he was challenged to change is vocabulary from saying “I have to” to ” I get to” What a difference one word can make.
“I have to go to work” – “I GET to go to work“
“I have to have to go to church” – “I GET to go to church“
“The flight was cancelled so I have to spend a night at the airport” – The flight was cancelled so I GET to spend a night at the airport”
Every day is a great day because the Lord made it and I GET to rejoice and be glad in it.
No longer “I have to” but “I GET TO”.
