Matthew 7:24-27 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
Life can be hard at times. We will face some type of storm during our lifetime; whether financial, physical, emotional, relational, spiritual – we will have troubles. To face and to go through those challenges, Jesus shared many life principles to help us. In fact the Bible is full of truths and principles that we can use during our daily lives to help us navigate.
The key to survive these storms is to prepare now. Read what Jesus said in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John AND APPLY IT. As you read, keep asking yourself, “How can I apply this to my life?” Once you begin to apply what you have read, you will be able to weather the storms because you built your life on a solid rock foundation.
So DON’T JUST READ THE BIBLE – APPLY IT!!
