John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Each week I pray and ask what verse and saying should I put up on the hill. This week in my quiet time, the Lord wanted me to post John 14:27 again, even though I posted it just 6 months ago.
God wanted to remind us that even though the world and our lives seem chaotic and we are afraid, anxious, worried, and even scared of what is going on – that we can find peace through his Son, Jesus.
Alcohol, food, binge watching, music, doctor prescribed meds, etc., only provide “temporary” relief or “peace”. It only lasts for a moment.
Jesus offers peace as a gift and it is a lasting and an unshakeable peace. It is a peace given to anyone who believes in Jesus and commits to making Him Lord and Savior of their life. Accept Him and know this peace.
