Luke 11:33 No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.
The purpose of light is to shine, to illuminate, to radiate. A light can provide direction on a footpath. A light can point out danger. A single beam of light can provide hope for those lost in darkness.
As followers of Jesus, we have the light inside of us. In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus says, that we are the light of the world…and to let our light shine. So LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE.
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE…
- in the workplace
- in the grocery store
- when your walking down the street
- at a gas station
- in your home
- at school
- when you are with your friends
- at a restaurant
- when your playing pickleball
- when you are working out
- EVERYWHERE!!
Everyone needs Jesus. Don’t be ashamed of the light – LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!
