Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Many people recognize this day as “Good Friday”. As Christians we remember this day when Jesus, God’s son, willingly suffered and died for our sins on a cross. But what makes is “good”?
I know it sounds weird to call the day that Jesus was beaten, mocked and crucified as “good”. But why He was…the results of Jesus dying and resurrecting are very “good“. You see, Romans 5:8 tells us that God loves you and He demonstrated this by sending Jesus. Then in 1 Peter 3:18 it says “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.”
Jesus died for our sins so that we could have a relationship with God. Will you accept what He did for you? Find out how you can have a relationship with Jesus. Click the link below.
