LIVE WISELY

Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

My father-in-law turns 90 years on April 21st. During his life, he has seen and experienced a lot. I have a ways to go before I turn 90 but one thing that we share, is that we both have seen our world “turn upside down”. What once was called “good” is now called “evil” and what once called “evil” is now called “good”. I’m sure you see the same thing.

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?

As followers of Jesus Christ, we Christians can make a huge difference. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul says for us to live wisely by making the most of our time.

What are you doing with your time? Are you more interested in watching the latest show on Netflix or spending time in prayer or reading the Bible? Do you spend more time going to the gym – doing what you want then taking time to serve others like Jesus did?

I believe that if we commit ourselves to living wisely and making the most of every opportunity by spending time and loving others like Jesus did, that we can change this world to “right side up” where “good is good” and “evil is evil”.

My challenge to you and to myself, is LIVE WISELY.
