John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
When you read the Bible, particularly in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you will find that Jesus spent His day either praying to His Heavenly Father, teaching the disciples, or ministering to the people. Chapter after chapter talks of this. Jesus demonstrated His love by spending time with His Heavenly Father, His disciples, and the people.
This past week I attended a memorial service of a person whose life was as a true example of how Jesus demonstrated His love. Story after story was shared how this person spent their day; either in prayer or with their family or with friends or in numerous acts of service. Their life reflected God’s love.
