James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Imagine if two people prayed for the same thing. Then four. Eight. Sixteen. Then hundreds and thousands. What if tens of thousands prayed for the same thing? Do you believe things would happen? Would change? ABSOLUTELY!
This week I was encouraged to see President Trump ask U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner to open the first cabinet meeting in prayer. In his prayer, he said “Lord God, we pray that we would lead with righteous clarity… and we would lead in a manner that You’ve called us to lead and serve... we pray that You will be glorified in our conversation, in Jesus’ name.”
Those words got me thinking. What if leaders across this great Country would open up all of their meetings in prayer and would ask God to help them lead. Do you think things would change? ABSOLUTELY!
Imagine the leaders of homes, Moms and Dads, asking God to help them lead; Imagine Little League Coaches asking God to help them lead; Imagine Teachers and Professors asking God to help them lead; Imagine various company team and group leaders asking God to help them lead; Imagine company C.E.O.s, Board of Directors, County, State, Officials, all asking God to help them lead. JUST IMAGINE. I guarantee things would change…AND…FOR THE BETTER!
We just need to move on from imagining to doing. You are a leader. All of us influences someone. So start today and ask God to help you lead. MUCH PRAYER = MUCH POWER
