THANKFUL FOR MY FAMILY

Psalm 40:5 Lord my God, You have done many things—Your wonderful works and Your plans for us; none can compare with You. If I were to report and speak of them, they are more than can be told.

I have a confession to make….I AM THANKFUL FOR MY FAMILY. And “yes” that includes that one “slightly crazy” relative that we all have.

I’m sure that not all of us can say that. But regardless of what you feel or think, God in His wonderful plan, put you and I, smack dab in the middle of our family. We are stuck with them for better or for worse.

“But you don’t know what my family is like.” — “There are 100% crazy, you have no idea.”— “They verbally abuse me.” — “i can’t stand them.”

Those statements may be true, but maybe, just maybe, God placed you in your family for a purpose (which I believe He has) and that purpose is for you to be that “light” that “glue” that “difference maker” and that “peace maker” He has called you to be. It may not be easy but rather than complain about your family, start thanking God for His wonderful works and plans and… your family… then watch what happens.

  1. I am very thankful for my family! Yes, we all have that crazy one and some feel they don’t belong but God has placed you/me/them there. Thank you for this.
