Psalm 121:1-8 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
I read Psalm 91 or Psalm 121 at least 2-3 times a week. Both of those passages are great reminders that our Heavenly Father is our protector. Our trust needs to be placed in Him and not in government, or in a person, or in money or even medicine, but solely on Him.
We are living in some crazy times. Regardless what you see or even hear, remember the promise, “He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Take time to faithfully read Psalm 121 or Psalm 91 once a week to remind you of our Lord’s faithfulness to be our protector.
