Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Those that trust in the Lord are blessed…but it doesn’t seem like it sometimes. We recently experienced flooding and the dairy in North Florida sustained more damage from the hurricane…blessed?! Sure doesn’t seem like it.
I love these verses and how they describe a tree by a body of water. No matter the weather condition; it still produces fruit. Why? Because the tree’s roots are always next to a stream.
Despite the “weather condition” if we have firmly placed our trust and confidence in God, we will produce fruit. Yes, the season can be tough but our Heavenly Father – He’s Got You! Trust Him.

Thanks for reaching out Ryan and Melissa and for looking at the latest verse. For the last couple of weeks, God has been having me focus on “trust” – trusting Him. Last week it was Psalms 20:7 and this week, Jeremiah 17:7-8. As you know, this past week was a tough one with the storm and all but through it all we are to Trust Him.
