With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away, I was reminiscing about a childhood Thanksgiving dinner that I attended at a friends house. They had a little tradition where they passed an empty basket around the table and when the basket reached you, you were to take one of the corn kernels that was on your plate and say something that your were thankful. I remember the basket being passed around multiple times until all of our corn kernels were gone.
