Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
(New International Version) “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
(New Living Translation) – “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.”
As a kid, I memorized this scripture verse in the King James Version (KJV) and later in life, the New International Version (NIV). The KJV is very “formal” and sometimes hard to grasp. While the NIV is more easy to understand. But for this verse, I like the New Living Translation . It interprets this verse into simple English.
DON’T WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING, INSTEAD, PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING. TELL GOD WHAT YOU NEED, AND THANK HIM FOR ALL HE HAS DONE.
Since you are a child of God, don’t worry about “stuff” and just talk to your heavenly Father and tell Him what is going on in your life. It’s a relationship. He wants to hear. He loves you. So tell Him your needs.
